Galette-Saucisse?
Oui! Oui!

A galette-saucisse is a classic French street food, featuring a hot, grilled sausage wrapped in a savory buckwheat crepe. Typically, the crepe is served cold to keep the eater's hands safe from the heat of the sausage.

This delicious snack is especially popular in Upper Brittany, often enjoyed at outdoor events, markets, and sports games.

Originating in the 19th century, the galette-saucisse combines two key elements of Breton cuisine: buckwheat, which was introduced to the region in the 15th century and is widely grown there, and pork sausage, a specialty of the Rennes area.

Locally made and gluten-free, it’s a perfect, wholesome grab-and-go option for a quick energy boost!
